Subject: Enforcement announcement of the Safe Rates system for the Trucking Transport
Business

 

운송 사업에 대한 '안전 요금 시스템'시행 발표.

 

 

 

 

 

1. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) amended the Trucking
Transport Business Act in April 2018, introducing "the Safe Rates system" which guarantees minimum freight rates for trucking business operators and owner-drivers on domestic transport of containers and cement.

 

국토교통부는 컨테이너와 시멘트 화물운송에대하여, 트럭운송사와 차주운전자 최소한의 운임을 보장지급해야되는 안전운임제 시행의 도입을 했습니다. 

 

 

 

 

 

2. MOLIT publicly announced the Safe Rates in December 2019 in due process, and the Safe
Rates system has been in effect since January 1st, 2020, in accordance with the Act.

 

국토교통부는 공직적으로 안전운임제를 시행한다고 발표했고, 2020년 1월 1일부터 시행됩니다

 

 

 

 

 

3. From January 1st, 2020, freight rates paid to trucking business operators and owner-drivers
must be the same or higher than the Safe Rates announced, and if the rates based on a
contract signed before January 1st, 2020, are lower than the Safe Rates, they should be adjusted to be the same or higher than the Safe Rates through a renewal of the contract.

 

2020 년 1 월 1 일부터 트럭 사업자 및 운전자에게 지불 된 운임은 공시 된 안전 요금과 동일하거나 높아야하며, 2020 년 1 월 1 일 이전에 서명 된 계약에 따른 요금이 안전 요금보다 낮은 경우 계약 갱신을 통해 안전 요금과 동일하거나 더 높게 조정되어야합니다.

 

 

 

 

 

4. In case a trucking business operator or an owner-driver is paid a freight rate lower than the
Safe Rates announced by MOLIT, it may be subject to an administrative fine after confirmation of relevant facts. Hence, it is requested to the persons concerned in domestic and overseas trucking business to observe the Safe Rates system.

 

트럭 운송업 운영자 또는 소유주 운전자에게 MOLIT에서 발표 한 안전 요금보다 낮은 운임이 지불 된 경우 관련 사실을 확인한 후 행정 벌금이 부과 될 수 있습니다. 따라서 국내 및 해외 운송업 관련 담당자는 안전율 시스템을 준수해야합니다.
